Their quote was comprehensive, reasonably priced, and accurate with no surprises along the way. The project included demolishing our old garage, grading and pouring a new concrete slab, and then building and finishing a new shed with several custom components that Marvin worked with us to design and incorporate. Marvin was incredibly responsive and made sure I was involved in key decisions throughout the process. He guided the crew with professionalism and ensured work kept moving forward despite challenging weather conditions. Will and Jose each managed parts of the project with care and attention to detail, and the entire team took pride in their work. In addition to the shed, the crew completed all excavation and preparation for the installation of turf, leaving us with a backyard we can now truly enjoy. We’re extremely happy with the final product and highly recommend Build4Outdoors for their craftsmanship, reliability, and excellent communication.

Hired Marvin and Will to change some grading and re-lay stone. They were responsive, communicative, reliable, accommodating, and flexible. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it. They even went above and beyond by accommodating changes during the project, all at a reasonable price. It was a completely manual and labour-intensive job because the site was inaccessible for equipment, yet the quality of the work was excellent. They modeled what it should be like to work with a contractor. I highly recommend them and would hire them again.

Whenever you are having somebody do work on your home there is that feeling of vulnerability because of the all the horror stories that are out there when it comes to home projects and contractors. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Build 4 Outdoors because not only is their quality of work above average, but at each stage of the project they communicate extremely well which allows you to make informed decisions when it is required for plans to change. Build 4 Outdoors built our back deck, patio and a retaining wall that was needed to separate our patio from the rest of the backyard. Trustworthy and competent. The before picture shows a brown box of our balcony. When in the balcony you couldn't see anything. Also the curbside appearance was terrible. The after picture demonstrates the transformation to a beautiful encasement that is inviting and really compliments the whole house. During the process, as each layer was removed we encountered various surprises of hornets, ants and rot. These challenges were addressed by Marvin and his team, providing various options and price points. There were no issues that left them stumped. It was a pleasure working with Marvin and his team. Excellent, quality workmanship with fabulous results.
